We invite you to the Gwangju Democracy Forum 2024.

The Gwangju Democracy Forum (GDF) is an annual international meeting of the May 18 Memorial Foundation to bring together democracy advocates, activists, researchers, and policy-makers to discuss challenges of democracy and human rights at the local, national and global levels and seek possible solutions for them as a way to commemorate and practice the Spirit of the May 18 Democratic Uprising in 1980.

The GDF will take place for three days from 16 to 18 May (Thursday to Saturday) 2024 during the Gwangju Democracy Week in a hybrid, virtual and in-person manners.
